Doggy Daycare West London, Done Properly

Forget boring walks and crowded parks.
This is dog daycare, reimagined.

At House of Dog, we proudly do things differently.

We don't 'do' a field full of bored dogs or on-lead, round-the-park loops in 45 minutes flat.

Our doggy daycare in west London is built around small groups, off-lead adventures, enrichment and genuine care that makes your dog feel at home.

We know what matters to you:

✅ The peace of mind that comes from knowing your dog is safe,

happy, and well-exercised

✅ The relief of knowing they will come home tired and clean
(yes, we’ll even wash the mud off!)

That’s what we do here (and we're told we do it really well!).

Our Services: Dog Daycare and dog training West London

Doggy Daycare West London

Say goodbye to boring circuits round the same old park. Small groups, a different walk every day and genuinely fun, off-lead adventures ensure your dog’s daily outing is never a dull moment.

Our daycare sessions consist of two stimulating, off-lead romps in one of ten London parks OR a 2-3 hour countryside adventure. (We pride ourselves on never doing the same walk more than once a week.) Daycare also involves engaging enrichment activities and cosy downtime at our comfortable home-from-home.

We don’t do kennels or cages - we do do sofas and soft beds.

Dog Training West London

Training isn’t about dominating your dog!

It’s about clear communication, building confidence and establishing the bond that will encourage your dog to make the right choices. That's how they become the dog you know you can trust (both on and off the lead).

Whether you’ve got a bouncy puppy in need of socialisation or an older dog with some less than desirable habits, we’ve got you covered.

We offer 1 to 1 dog training by the hour with one of our qualified team, as well as week-long residential bootcamps.

We also weave training into our daycare and walking services — because training works best when it’s part of everyday life, not a one-off class.

From recall and lead manners to social skills and impulse control, your dog learns while having fun.

Puppy Training West London

Puppies are sponges for learning, which is why our puppy training in west London focuses on socialisation, confidence-building, and early obedience skills.

We make sure your pup grows up happy, well-mannered, and ready to take on the world (starting with the park!)

Key benefits:

  • Build rock-solid recall

  • Teach lead manners

  • Encourage calm greetings (no more jumping up at your friends!)

We offer 1 to 1 puppy training by the half hour with one of our qualified team, as well as residential puppy training weeks.

The learning won't stop there. All the lessons your pup learns will develop into life-long good habits when they are regularly reinforced in a safe, small-group setting on pack walks.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"They take the dogs to interesting places outside Central London, beaches, rivers, open spaces, where the dogs have such fun and are very well socialised. My dog looks forward to going the HouseofDog club, so I never feel bad about leaving him. He always comes back exercised body and mind! They also offer training services for their dogs and owners, and in my case that was very helpful when my dog was younger."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve used a number of dog day cares and boarding facilities in both the US and UK, and nothing compares to House of Dog. Steph and her incredible team go far beyond the basics - they take the time to understand each dog’s personality, quirks, and needs, and then care for them as if they were their own. My King Charles Cavalier, Ted, has stayed for both boarding and day care, and I’ve never once felt anxious while he’s there. The peace of mind I get knowing he’s safe, happy, and genuinely loved is invaluable.

How This Doggy Daycare London Adventure Works

1

Fill in the contact form & tell us about you

Drop us a line and tell us all about your dog - the good, the bad and the occasionally embarrassing.

Steph (our founder and resident dog whisperer) will reach out personally to arrange your trial day.

We usually schedule these on Mondays, but if that doesn't work, we’ll find another day that suits you.

2

Trial Day

We kick off your dog's trial with a relaxed 30-minute meet-and-greet at our base in W10. We get to know your dog, you get to know us.

After this your dog will join the pack for the day and go on our usual adventures.

Your dog does dog things and decides if we’re worthy.

(Not to brag, but we haven’t failed the test yet!)

3

Welcome to the Club!

If all tails are still wagging when the day is up, we’ll officially welcome your dog into the Club with maximum fanfare and maybe even some bunting!

You'll then have full access to our easy-peasy online booking system.

A Day in the Life

Your dog gets picked up in our electric, air-conditioned van and whisked away for an adventure with their new pack.

After the morning romp, they snooze in our cosy home (no cages, just couches).

After a second walk and some enrichment, they’re dropped back off - fulfilled, happy, and ready for dinner and a nap.

  • All dogs who are well socialised and can safely be walked off-lead in a group with others

  • Puppies from 12 weeks (we have special arrangements for puppies under 6 months old)

  • Females, whether they are neutered or not (please note that we cannot look after bitches while they are in heat)

  • Unneutered males under 12 months

  • Neutered males over 12 months

  • Owners who are prepared to commit to their dog coming at least once a week

Who are we unsuitable for?

  • Dogs with no recall

  • Unneutered males over the age of 1

  • Dogs with behavioural issues eg, aggression, excessive barking, scent marking indoors

  • Owners who cannot commit to their dog coming once a week

Got Questions? We’ve Got AnswerS… and Treats!

  • Do I need to attend in person on the trial day?
Ideally, yes, but we only need you for 30 minutes. We find it's the best way to get to know your dog and for you to ask your questions of us. But don't worry if you can't make it, we can arrange a meet and greet by phone and ask someone to be in to give us access.
  • Once my dog’s membership is approved, do I need to be home on the days they're booked in?
Nope! If you give us a key, we handle everything.
  • How do I pay?
Cash on the trial day. If your dog joins the club, ongoing payments are made online.
  • How many dogs do you walk together?
We walk 4 dogs per handler. That’s the legal limit in most London parks and the sweet spot for safety and fun.
  • Can I visit your premises?
Absolutely. We recommend visiting at the end of the trial day rather than the beginning so that your dog doesn't feel like they're being abandoned.
  • What if my dog hasn’t been off-lead before?
As a trainer offering dog training in west London, I can help your dog build off-lead confidence in a safe, structured way. Reliable recall is a must before joining our group adventures, but we can work on it together. I provide one-to-one sessions and residential training so that your dog is ready to run free and enjoy the full benefits of our adventures.
  • Do you take puppies?
Absolutely! And I love working with them! My puppy training in West London focuses on setting young dogs up for a lifetime of good habits. Once your pup has completed their vaccinations and is toilet trained, they can join us for early socialisation, boundary-setting, gentle exercise and structured play. These early experiences are essential for raising a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
  • Do I need to commit to a certain number of days a week?
Dogs thrive on routine and need a regular outlet for their energy so we ask you to commit to a minimum of one day a week, for their sake. However, we believe that the ideal minimum frequency is twice a week so that the dog you have at home is fulfilled, not frustrated, and calm.
  • How far in advance do I need to book?
We tend to book out in advance, especially for Daycare Plus so we always recommend booking a week ahead. Once you’re a member, you’ll have access to our online booking system to manage your dog’s days with ease.
  • What happens if the weather’s bad?
We go out in all weathers (just like dogs like it). Rain, sleet, sun, or snow! We adapt our routes, pack the right kit, towels, and carry on wagging.
  • What if my dog gets muddy?
We say: the muddier the dog, the better the day! We’ll always rinse and towel them down before drop-off, but we also recommend sending your dog in with a drying coat so we can get them really dry. They also love lounging around in them on chilly days.

"Our go-to dog carer in West London for over 3 years!"

Steph has looked after my dogs for more than three years - first Romney, my particular senior at 13, and now Kobe, my bouncy 6-month-old Border Collie. She’s been my absolute saviour for grooming, training, daycare, overnight boarding, even doggy holidays! Both dogs adore her and come home fizzing with joy and completely exhausted - basically heaven for me!
